Curvos FC's Óscar Rodrigues couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for REUMÁTICO FC. Amadeu Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Andrade having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, REUMÁTICO FC's Caio Valentim made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lúcio Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curvos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Amadeu Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Curvos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Coelho couldn't finish the play. Mário Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Simões in the 45th minute of play. Mário Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Coelho in the 47th minute of the match.

The supporters of Curvos FC booed when REUMÁTICO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Lustosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Caio Valentim notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Curvos FC's Manuel Mota. Manuel Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind REUMÁTICO FC's goalkeeper Mário Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Simões got free with Mário Andrade in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martinho Pinhal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Mário Andrade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lúcio Simões showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 67 minute of play. Severiano Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes REUMÁTICO FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Brito. Amadeu Coelho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Curvos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Humberto Guerreiro scored 2-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Andrade having to interfere. After a rather tough play, REUMÁTICO FC's Aloísio Malta got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
