Leonel Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REUMÁTICO FC. When Leonel Vigário came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the REUMÁTICO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Vigário couldn't finish the play. If Leonel Vigário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Vigário in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Pacheco saved GLADIADORES DE ALFENA from getting behind. Leonel Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Valentim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Vigário received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leonel Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Caio Valentim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Valentim in the 27th minute of play forced GLADIADORES DE ALFENA's goalkeeper Leonel Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Valentim in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, REUMÁTICO FC's Mário Andrade got control of the ball when Silvano Aragão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simão Damásio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the GLADIADORES DE ALFENA defense, Caio Valentim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Pacheco. The GLADIADORES DE ALFENA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Pacheco should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, REUMÁTICO FC's goalkeeper Mário Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Aragão. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Simão Damásio made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Vigário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st match minute, GLADIADORES DE ALFENA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Fiúza to maneuver through the defense. Simão Damásio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Andrade having to interfere. If Simão Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Silvano Aragão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLADIADORES DE ALFENA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Aragão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Martinho Pinhal fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REUMÁTICO FC's protests and gave Martinho Pinhal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to REUMÁTICO FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Martinho Pinhal hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, GLADIADORES DE ALFENA's Adérito lago tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Silvano Aragão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Damásio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Vigário in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, REUMÁTICO FC's Caio Valentim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Pacheco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Caio Valentim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
