Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Branco made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Oskar Falkrantz during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Oskar Falkrantz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Alfafar FC defense, Emílio Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Amaro. The Alfafar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Amaro should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacemes FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Domingues having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Bento Santarém could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Lourenço Domingues however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfafar FC's Rafael Branco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lourenço Domingues. That made the score 2-1 after 25 minutes of play. Lourenço Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Santarém in the 31st minute. If Virgilio Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bento Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lourenço Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Cacemes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Branco came free, but Lourenço Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Virgilio Geleberto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Amaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Humberto Amaro's late challenge caught a Cacemes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Amaro helped the player get up and apologised. If Augusto Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Geleberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Miguel Amaro made a huge save. If Virgilio Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Geleberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Amaro having to make a save. If Emílio Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Santos made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Humberto Amaro immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Santarém in the 86th minute of play forced Cacemes FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, one of Cacemes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Virgilio Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Geleberto in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Amaro saved Alfafar FC from getting behind. Rafael Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Domingues having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alfafar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cacemes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
