When Bens's Álvaro Coelho in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Game Over's goalie prevented a goal. Veríssimo Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Cunha in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Wilson Calado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Game Over's zone, Álvaro Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veríssimo Couto came out of the goal and Álvaro Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Emílio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Coelho in the 38th minute of play forced Game Over's goalkeeper Veríssimo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Veríssimo Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Álvaro Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wilson Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Rocha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Wilson Calado struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mário Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Game Over. After 64 minutes, Bruno Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bens and the Game Over players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bens getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bruno Monteiro hit a great ball. If Wilson Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Álvaro Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emílio Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veríssimo Couto having to interfere. Armindo Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Nunes having to interfere. Mário Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Calado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Game Over defense, Emílio Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Veríssimo Couto. The Game Over fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Veríssimo Couto should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Bens's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Galvão came free, but Mário Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
