Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Cabral made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the SC Gaspalha defense, Noel Salvado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luz. The SC Gaspalha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luz should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but André Valverde made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cabral in the 11th minute of play forced SC Martinhanes's goalkeeper André Valverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Cabral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Martinhanes's goalkeeper André Valverde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Valverde was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Cabral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Ricardo Coelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ricardo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Jaime Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Jaime Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes SC Martinhanes got a freekick which was hit by Noel Salvado. After a rather tough play, SC Martinhanes's Augusto Camargo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Coelho got free with André Valverde in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Valverde was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Jaime Cabral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Cabral really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Jaime Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Valverde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Coelho got free with André Valverde in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, SC Martinhanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Salvado to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Valverde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Noel Salvado made the kick off in the second half. André Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jaime Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Valverde having to interfere. Pedro Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Salvado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Ricardo Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Gaspalha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. André Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. André Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Coelho in the 83rd minute of the match. SC Gaspalha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Valente in the 85th minute. It was a well-played corner which Duarte Martins managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 88th minute Jaime Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, SC Martinhanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Madruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Ricardo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Valverde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Cabral's shot from short distance in the 99th minute.
