Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Afonso Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trouxemil's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Castilho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Guterres in the 9th minute of the match. Eurico Castilho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Amaral during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trouxemil getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Manuel Amaral hit a great ball. Vitória de Coimbra SC's Eurico Castilho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Figueiredo in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Trouxemil got a freekick which was hit by Marco Monteiro. Sérgio Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Bento's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Trouxemil's Afonso Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adolfo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vitória de Coimbra SC's Eurico Castilho got control of the ball when Afonso Campos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Manuel Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Vitória de Coimbra SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adolfo Figueiredo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manuel Bento struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sérgio Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitória de Coimbra SC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Figueiredo made a kick off. Márcio Guterres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Reis having to interfere. Márcio Guterres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Trouxemil's Sérgio Reis got control of the ball when Manuel Bento tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Adolfo Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Trouxemil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Adolfo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitória de Coimbra SC's Eurico Castilho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trouxemil's Afonso Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Torcato Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Guterres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Manuel Bento sped through Trouxemil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sérgio Reis. In the 80thth minute of the game Adolfo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitória de Coimbra SC's Eurico Castilho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonso Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Castilho having to interfere. Manuel Bento came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sérgio Reis could save by the left post. Sérgio Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Guterres's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Vitória de Coimbra SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vitória de Coimbra SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
