Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roberto Sacramento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Manuel Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the AC 79 Aveiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Gomes couldn't finish the play. If Jan Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aguias de Alvite's Hermano Távora got a free kick in the 8th minute. AC 79 Aveiro's Jan Czerny got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Quaresma was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Armindo Quaresma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Neves's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. If Jan Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Neves in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Quaresma saved Aguias de Alvite from getting behind. Joaquim Neves struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Armindo Quaresma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC 79 Aveiro. In the 33rdth minute of the game Joaquim Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguias de Alvite's Armindo Quaresma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Czerny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Armindo Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Quaresma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Quaresma having to interfere. In the 45th minute Joaquim Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Czerny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jan Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Quaresma having to interfere. Joaquim Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Czerny struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Armindo Quaresma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC 79 Aveiro. 56 minutes into the match, AC 79 Aveiro's Pavel Scott broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Armindo Quaresma was a little too slow when Joaquim Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-1. Joaquim Neves in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armindo Quaresma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 64 minutes, Roberto Sacramento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguias de Alvite and the AC 79 Aveiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aguias de Alvite's Roberto Sacramento got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguias de Alvite's goalkeeper Armindo Quaresma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Nevess short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Armindo Quaresma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Joaquim Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC 79 Aveiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Quaresma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aguias de Alvite fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! After having played for 84 minutes, Jan Czerny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC 79 Aveiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Czerny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Neves struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Armindo Quaresma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC 79 Aveiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Czerny in the 93rd minute of play forced Aguias de Alvite's goalkeeper Armindo Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Aguias de Alvite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Sacramento to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded AC 79 Aveiro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aguias de Alvite.
