Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aranhas's Jairo Rodrigues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Aranhas's zone, Duarte Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Miranda came out of the goal and Duarte Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Veiga during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aranhas booed when Listoso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Normando Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Aranhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normando Coutinho couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Silvério Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Listoso FC's Diamantino Veiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Silvério Sobral hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Listoso FC's Diamantino Veiga tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cristiano Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Listoso FC's Simão Sousa got a free kick in the 36th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Duarte Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Enzo Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Ferreira in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Cristiano Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Listoso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Aranhas defense, Duarte Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Miranda. The Aranhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Miranda should have stopped the shot. Listoso FC's Cristiano Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Valente in the 66th minute of play forced Aranhas's goalkeeper Enzo Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Ferreira in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Miranda saved Aranhas from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Simão Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jairo Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Campos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Cristiano Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Miranda having to interfere. Duarte Valente scored 4-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Normando Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Carlos Campos made a huge save. Aranhas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
