Darien Casals didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Neto went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Cidral FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Presalves:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Presalves. Cristiano Dias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sérgio Valente. 1-1. Darien Casals showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Neto in the 17th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Cidral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Aguiar came free, but Sérgio Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Aguiar in the 24th minute of play. Paulo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Valente having to interfere. Cidral FC's Sérgio Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Aguiar in the 29th minute of play. Pedro Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Álvaro Neto scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darien Casals, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Paulo Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Presalves's Paulo Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cidral FC's zone, Paulo Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Valente came out of the goal and Paulo Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Paulo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Presalves's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Coelho came free, but Darien Casals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Paulo Melo made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Valente. Cidral FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. If Paulo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sérgio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Álvaro Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Darien Casals was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
