Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simão Torres took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Eusébio Matias took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Avelino Henriques to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Mogoito's zone, António Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avelino Henriques came out of the goal and António Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Rodrigo Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogoito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mogoito's Avelino Henriques got control of the ball when Carlos Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Avelino Henriques made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Mogoito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rale FC:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Rale FC. Bernardo Araújo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Avelino Henriques. 2-0. Carlos Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Avelino Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Simão Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Figueiredo in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Mogoito got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Mota. 37 minutes into the match, Rale FC's Bernardo Araújo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Figueiredo in the 39th minute of play forced Rale FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfredo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mogoito's zone, António Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avelino Henriques came out of the goal and António Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when António Gomes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rale FC's António Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avelino Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Rale FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. António Gomes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Simão Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogoito's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avelino Henriques having to interfere. If António Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Mogoito getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Marco Andrade hit a great ball. Carlos Alves scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avelino Henriques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Rale FC's António Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avelino Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Emílio Campelo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mogoito's protests and gave Emílio Campelo a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Rale FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
