Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardo Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sandro Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Andrade having to interfere. Joel Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pejao's zone, Sandro Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Andrade came out of the goal and Sandro Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Vale in the 14th minute of play. Eusébio Leiria hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Rancosinho FC's Joel Gonçalves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Andrade. Afonso Andrade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, SC Pejao's Pedro Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 played minutes SC Pejao got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Moutinho. Manuel Cardoso, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sandro Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Afonso Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Rancosinho FC's zone, Afonso Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Ramos came out of the goal and Afonso Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, SC Pejao's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gonçalves came free, but Afonso Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Joel Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Pejao booed when Rancosinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Pejao's Paulo Araújo tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rancosinho FC! 75 minutes into the game, Oliveira Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pejao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rancosinho FC the free kick. The supporters of Rancosinho FC booed when SC Pejao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Ramos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rancosinho FC's Joel Gonçalves got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Domingos Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rancosinho FC and the SC Pejao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, one of Rancosinho FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rancosinho FC. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, SC Pejao's Paulo Araújo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Afonso Ramos. 100 minutes into the match, SC Pejao's Paulo Araújo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
