Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vasco's Daniel Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidónio Curado in the 2nd minute of play. Daniel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevão Macena in the 6th minute of play. Artur Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Júdice having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Preladas's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Miranda came free, but Cesário Júdice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Vilela hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Carlos Nascimento from a close distance when the talented Cesário Júdice managed to make a qualified save. Preladas's players were relieved. Daniel Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidónio Curado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Estevão Macena came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Preladas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevão Macena couldn't finish the play. Daniel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidónio Curado in the 39th minute of play. Carlos Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Preladas's Cesário Júdice got control of the ball when Carlos Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Artur Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Nascimento got free with Cesário Júdice in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estevão Macena made a kick off. Daniel Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Macena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Vasco getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Oliveira Neves hit a great ball. Estevão Macena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Vasco's Carlos Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesário Júdice made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Miranda in the 71st minute of play forced Preladas's goalkeeper Cesário Júdice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Paredes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Sidónio Curado sent off a good shot on target. If Sidónio Curado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Estevão Macena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carlos Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesário Júdice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Preladas booed when Vasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Vasco's goalkeeper Daniel Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidónio Curado. After 98 played minutes, Vasco's Cristiano Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesário Júdice came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vasco reached it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
