An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Henriques in the 18th minute of play forced Bombo Fc's goalkeeper Filipe Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palmiro Eanes having to interfere. Bombo Fc's Filipe Brás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Bombo Fc from getting a goal against them. Filipe Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Albuquerque in the 30th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Filipe Brás successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bombo Fc's Benedito Malta got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Teves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palmiro Eanes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Lisboa during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santiago Lisboa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the Bombo Fc defense, Bruno Henriques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Brás. The Bombo Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Brás should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Bombo Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Albuquerque came free, but Filipe Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palmiro Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Teves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palmiro Eanes having to interfere. Xertelo's Palmiro Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Teves in the 91st minute of play.
