In the 3rd minute, Hélder Rodrigues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albertino Leiria. The goal made the score 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, Andao FC's Rafael Cruz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Andao FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Manuel Bessa hit a great ball. Albertino Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Hélder Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andao FC's Albertino Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Hélder Rodrigues did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Albertino Leiria 40 minutes into the match. Delfim Aleixo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Joaquim Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Andao FC's Albertino Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Rodrigues in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Andao FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Bessa. After a defensive mix-up in Andao FC's zone, Raul Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Leiria came out of the goal and Raul Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Andao FC's Manuel Bessa got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Rodrigues in the 61st minute of play forced Andao FC's goalkeeper Albertino Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquim Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Torres was a little too slow when Rafael Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 3-2. Raul Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Leiria having to interfere. Manuel Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Dias in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertino Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hélder Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
