Lourenço Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ribeiro in the 36th minute of play. If Manuel Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Alfredo Henriques made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Coimbra's late challenge caught a Martinzes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Coimbra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Falca's Tomé Coimbra got a free kick in the 54th minute. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, SC Falca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Macena to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Cesário Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesário Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Martinzes defense, Jesualdo Mourato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Soares. The Martinzes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Soares should have stopped the shot. SC Falca's Tomé Coimbra got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Tomé Coimbra off the ground. 89 minutes into the match, Martinzes's Vítor Andrade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Cesário Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Falca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
