Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Guarda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Joaquim Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padros FC's protests and gave Joaquim Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Padros FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joaquim Amorim hit a great ball. Wilson Vilarinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alberto Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Guarda in the 8th minute of play. Valentim Parente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Rocha in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Red Bull FC's Carlos Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentim Parente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Padros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Guarda came free, but Valentim Parente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Valentim Parente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Pereira in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Red Bull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Brandão came free, but Alberto Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Padros FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joaquim Amorim hit a great ball. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Guarda in the 27th minute of play. Valentim Parente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Guarda in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Cunha got free with Valentim Parente in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Padros FC's Valentim Parente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Padros FC from getting a goal against them. Valentim Parente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Pereira in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gustavo Brandão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Brandão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Padros FC's goalkeeper Valentim Parente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Guarda. Carlos Guarda took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentim Parente. Valentim Parente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Red Bull FC's Rogério Santarém got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentim Parente was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Valentim Parente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Padros FC defense, Xavier Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentim Parente. The Padros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentim Parente should have stopped the shot. Padros FC's Valentim Parente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Cunha in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Guarda in the 66th minute of play forced Padros FC's goalkeeper Valentim Parente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Pereira in the 67th minute of play. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Guarda in the 74th minute of play. Valentim Parente came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull FC's Xavier Pereira. But to his dismay, Xavier Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 79 minutes, Rodolfo Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Padros FC and the Red Bull FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Red Bull FC booed when Padros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentim Parente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Bull FC's Alberto Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull FC from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Hugo Rocha suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Padros FC's Rodolfo Alcântara got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Rodolfo Alcântara off the ground. Red Bull FC made a substitution. José Mendes replaced Hugo Rocha. In the 87th match minute, Padros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Valentim Parente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentim Parente came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull FC's Xavier Pereira. But to his dismay, Xavier Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Valentim Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Mendes in the 95th minute of play. Red Bull FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
