Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Antunes got the match started through his kick off. Máximo Sardinha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Vítor Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Máximo Sardinha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Amaral having to interfere. In the 7th minute Jacob Chagas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 10th minute, when SC Carapinheira's Artur Lisboa after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Telmo Calheiros in Alcheriubem FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Lima got free with Telmo Calheiros in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telmo Calheiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Dimas Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcheriubem FC and the SC Carapinheira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alcheriubem FC's Dimas Azevedo got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, SC Carapinheira's Artur Lisboa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dimas Azevedo was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Alcheriubem FC's Dimas Azevedo got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Joaquim Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Calheiros having to interfere. Telmo Calheiros stood somewhat misplaced when Fábio Lima came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Alcheriubem FC's Telmo Calheiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Antunes in the 32nd minute of play. Fábio Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Chagas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vítor Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Chagas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jacob Chagas made the kick off in the second half. Alcheriubem FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laércio Gusmão in the 53rd minute. Jacob Chagas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Vítor Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcheriubem FC. Laércio Gusmão hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes SC Carapinheira got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Aguiar. 64 minutes into the game, Saúl Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcheriubem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carapinheira the free kick. 70 minutes into the match, Jacob Chagas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Amaral, 1-1. 75 minutes into the match, Fábio Lima notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Alcheriubem FC's Telmo Calheiros. Telmo Calheiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Calheiros was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Alcheriubem FC's Jacob Chagas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vítor Amaral. Vítor Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some careless play in the Alcheriubem FC defense, Fábio Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Calheiros. The Alcheriubem FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Calheiros should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Carapinheira fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alcheriubem FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
