After 8 minutes of play, Boliqueime's Vítor Macena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Gueifão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abraveses FC's Filipe Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Monteiro in the 11th minute of play. Boliqueime's Cássio Aragão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Boliqueime from getting a goal against them. After having played for 19 minutes, José Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abraveses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tomás Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Abraveses FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Leiria couldn't finish the play. Boliqueime's Cássio Aragão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Leiria in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Boliqueime getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Veríssimo Câmara hit a great ball. Tomás Leiria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 26 minutes, Herberto Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boliqueime and the Abraveses FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herberto Braga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Vítor Macena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Aragão made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when José Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Gueifão having to interfere. Alexandre Araújo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Boliqueime were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abraveses FC's José Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Tomás Leiria sped through Boliqueime's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Aragão. After 62 played minutes Boliqueime got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Coelho. Tomás Leiria struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cássio Aragão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abraveses FC. Abraveses FC's Filipe Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Abraveses FC from getting a goal against them. Tomás Leiria's late challenge caught a Boliqueime's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Abraveses FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Aragão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pereira in the 72nd minute of play. Cássio Aragão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Filipe Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vítor Macena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Abraveses FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alexandre Araújo hit a great ball. If Vítor Macena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
