Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heitor Rocha got the match started through his kick off. Artur Ferro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match David Aguiar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. U.CRAIOVA's Nichifor Jucan got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th match minute, U.CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Catarino Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Moreira's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Alexandre Veiga's late challenge caught a U.CRAIOVA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kalancas F.C.'s Alexandre Veiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Heitor Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Kalancas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Pinheiro. Catarino Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Rocha in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to U.CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gonçalo Aguiar hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Leiria made a kick off. Carlos Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfredo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kalancas F.C. booed when U.CRAIOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When U.CRAIOVA's Nichifor Jucan in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalancas F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 60 played minutes Kalancas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Pinheiro. Nichifor Jucan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Ribeiro having to interfere. A collision led to U.CRAIOVA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Paulo Barros hit a great ball. Catarino Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by U.CRAIOVA's Ricardo Moreira. But to his dismay, Ricardo Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jorge Cruz came free in the 74th minute and tried to tip the ball over Alfredo Leite, but to the joy of U.CRAIOVA's supporters the ball went over. If Carlos Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Kalancas F.C.'s goalkeeper Catarino Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Jucan. Catarino Ribeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heitor Rocha went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Afonso Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, U.CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Moreira to maneuver through the defense. U.CRAIOVA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
