Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Bailao's Adalberto Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santiago Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Miguel Santos made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Alípio Torcato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rui Vaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Adalberto Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bailao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gastão Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santos having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Assamaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandrino Leite came free, but Valentim Caldeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Rui Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Alexandrino Leite in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rui Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Santos having to interfere. Gastão Maciel got in the 39th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Miguel Santos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Santiago Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Vaz was the one to do the kick off. Rui Vaz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Santos. Miguel Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of SC Bailao booed when Assamaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Assamaca FC's goalkeeper Valentim Caldeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandrino Leite. If Rui Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gastão Maciel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Santos saved SC Bailao from getting behind. In the 66thth minute of the game Rui Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bailao's Miguel Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Vaz in the 68th minute of play forced SC Bailao's goalkeeper Miguel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Gastão Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Miguel Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Assamaca FC's Gastão Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rui Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assamaca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Rui Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match, Alexandrino Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valentim Caldeira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gastão Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Miguel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Gastão Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Santos. SC Bailao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Gastão Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Santos having to make a save. Assamaca FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
