Alexandrino Leite was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. SC Bailao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Mandim's Manuel Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Castro in the 30th minute of play. Humberto Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Humberto Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Castro in the 57th minute of the match. Alexandrino Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandrino Leite in the 95th minute of play. Many of SC Mandim's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SC Mandim may have spent more time on the ball, but SC Bailao were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
