After 2 played minutes SC Bicheiro got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Setúbal. Bruno Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Manuel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Branco having to interfere. Tomás Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Coelho in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Branco saved SC Portelinha from getting behind. Manuel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Branco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Bicheiro's Manuel Coelho got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gustavo Cunha didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 17th minute. SC Portelinha's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With his leg Bruno Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when SC Portelinha's Gustavo Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustavo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Leão having to interfere. Gustavo Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Inácio Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gustavo Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SC Portelinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Cunha couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, SC Portelinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Brás to maneuver through the defense. SC Portelinha's Tomás Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Coelho in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Portelinha defense, Manuel Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Branco. The SC Portelinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Branco should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Cunha was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gustavo Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bruno Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Setúbal during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bicheiro's zone, João Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Leão came out of the goal and João Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, SC Portelinha's goalkeeper Tomás Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Setúbal. Bruno Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Cunha in the 63rd minute of the match. Bruno Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Cunha went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Manuel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tomás Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Manuel Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bicheiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Leão having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Abel Neto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of SC Bicheiro's Bruno Leão. Bruno Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomás Branco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. SC Portelinha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Bicheiro for a fine match.
