Bruno Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Cavaco in the 11th minute of the match. Basílio Cavaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Coelho got free with Graciano Aires in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Mirandela's goalkeeper Graciano Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Setúbal. The SC Bicheiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mirandela were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Marques to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Isac Salgueiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Graciano Aires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inácio Marques went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Honorato Valentim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Bruno Leão made a huge save. Manuel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Graciano Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Graciano Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Coelho in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Inácio Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Graciano Aires was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The supporters of SC Bicheiro booed when Mirandela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Calheiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Emílio Ferro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Graciano Aires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Manuel Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mirandela defense, Manuel Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Graciano Aires. The Mirandela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Graciano Aires should have stopped the shot. The Mirandela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
