After having played for 15 minutes, Chico Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Guilhafonso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chico Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Leão having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, SC Bicheiro's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Andrade came free, but Bruno Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes, Inácio Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Bicheiro and the SC Guilhafonso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inácio Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bruno Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Andrade in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Chico Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bicheiro's Bruno Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emílio Ferro's late challenge caught a SC Guilhafonso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for SC Guilhafonso. Mariano Ribeiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bruno Leão. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when David Pedroso made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, SC Guilhafonso's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Setúbal came free, but Daniel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Andrade was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 67th match minute, SC Guilhafonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Melo to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Coelho's late challenge caught a SC Guilhafonso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Bicheiro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Manuel Coelho hit a great ball. Basílio Vale made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Manuel Coelho. When David Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SC Guilhafonso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, SC Guilhafonso failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
