Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inácio Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Oliveira Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Murzeleira's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Nogueira came free, but Artur Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Leal during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Murzeleira got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Leal. Inácio Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Gueifão having to interfere. Gabriel Trindade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Gueifão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sebastião Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inácio Melo's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Gabriel Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Gueifão made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tiago Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Trindade got free with Sebastião Gueifão in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emílio Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Messegaes's protests and gave Emílio Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. Emílio Delgado hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Albertino Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Veiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastião Gueifão came out and tried to block the shot, but Cláudio Veiga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. After 37 played minutes Messegaes got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Pinho. In the 39th minute of the match José Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastião Gueifão skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Murzeleira getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cláudio Veiga hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Daniel Leiria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliveira Magalhães made a kick off. Murzeleira's Artur Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Murzeleira from getting a goal against them. Artur Castro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Messegaes's Albertino Nogueira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Inácio Melo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sebastião Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murzeleira. If Inácio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Albertino Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Messegaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Nogueira couldn't finish the play. If Oliveira Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Melo in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Miguel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Messegaes's Oliveira Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Murzeleira's zone, Oliveira Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Castro came out of the goal and Oliveira Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Murzeleira's Gabriel Trindade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Hugo Faria, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Murzeleira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Messegaes for a fine match.
