Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Cadaval's Dércio Prestes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Cadaval's David Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Soares in the 3rd minute of play. Flávio Figueiredo's late challenge caught a SC Cadaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Cadaval booed when Ponta Do Pargo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo Osório recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, Ponta Do Pargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Soares to maneuver through the defense. David Morais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Freire in the 20th minute. António Prates hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jairo Pimentel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dércio Prestes in the 23rd minute of play. Ponta Do Pargo's attentive Lázaro Soares managed to snatch the ball when Flávio Raminhos made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. A hard shot 38 in the game by Sérgio Freire from a close distance when the talented David Morais managed to make a qualified save. SC Cadaval's players were relieved. Nivaldo Madureira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sérgio Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sérgio Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Nivaldo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dércio Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Pimentel having to make a save. Nivaldo Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sérgio Freire sped through SC Cadaval's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Morais. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponta Do Pargo's goalkeeper Jairo Pimentel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Pimentel was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Dércio Prestes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dércio Prestes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. A collision led to Ponta Do Pargo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lázaro Soares hit a great ball. Nivaldo Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Freire in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Morais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the SC Cadaval defense, Nivaldo Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Morais. The SC Cadaval fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Morais should have stopped the shot. David Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Freire in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Cadaval players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ponta Do Pargo.
