In the 3rd minute, Carlos Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Mendonça in the 5th minute of play forced CARVOEIRA FC's goalkeeper Jorge Resende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Elias Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jorge Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Resende came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos FC's Manuel Mendonça. But to his dismay, Manuel Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aldo Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Manuel Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Paranhos FC booed when CARVOEIRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jorge Resende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Camargo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Paranhos FC's Aldo Camargo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Resende. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Aldo Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paranhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Aldo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Paranhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Bento Domingues. In the 89th minute Aldo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Manuel Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jordão Queiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Resende having to interfere. Paranhos FC played a much better game than CARVOEIRA FC and deserved their victory. The CARVOEIRA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
