Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laureano Poças took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Alberto Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Mesquita. Liberalitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Liberalitas FC's goalkeeper Emílio Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Esteves. Emílio Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Machado's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Patrício Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liberalitas FC's protests and gave Patrício Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Esteves got free with Emílio Mesquita in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Mesquita having to interfere. Alberto Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emílio Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Liberalitas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vasco Esteves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vasco Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Emílio Mesquita made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Alberto Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emílio Mesquita. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 33rdth minute of the game Laureano Poças who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Umbria's André Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Poças blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Rodrigues having to make a save. Hélder Vilas Boas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. André Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Umbria getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jorge Baptista hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Machado to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jorge Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Umbria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Laureano Poças took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for André Rodrigues to make any attempt to save it. Emílio Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Machado's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes SC Umbria got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Esteves. André Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Vilas Boas in the 68th minute. SC Umbria's André Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save SC Umbria from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SC Umbria getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lúcio Maia hit a great ball. Laureano Poças received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. André Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Vilas Boas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but André Rodrigues made a huge save. Alberto Machado took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Mesquita. Emílio Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Esteves in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Umbria's André Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Poças in the 96th minute of play. Sandro Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes SC Umbria got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Mota. If Hélder Vilas Boas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Umbria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
