The SC Fogarosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th minute, Duarte Brás made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Gomes. SC Pinhal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manuel Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardo Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 19 minute of play. Rafael Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Neves in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, SC Pinhal's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Reis came free, but Rafael Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Pinhal getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fábio Vaz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Machado got free with Manuel Fernandes in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Reis hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Raul Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Gomes. SC Pinhal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Rafael Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Neves in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Neves was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Tomás Neves took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Rafael Gomes to make any attempt to save it. 58 minutes into the match, SC Pinhal's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Neves came free, but Rafael Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Gomes. That made the score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. Viriato Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When SC Fogarosa's Tomás Neves in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 90 minutes of play, SC Fogarosa's Duarte Brás made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Gomes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot by Hugo Sousa from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Rafael Gomes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Fogarosa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
