Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduardo Mendes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rodrigo Simões had great luck who in the 6thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rodrigo Pimentel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 7th minute Eduardo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Frois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Frois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Mendes in the 9th minute of play. If Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Frois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Fernando Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Fernando Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Regilde's Rodrigo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Regilde from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Regilde's zone, Rodrigo Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Simões came out of the goal and Rodrigo Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freixedas FC's Albertino Tomé got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Tomé got free with Rodrigo Simões in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Regilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Freixedas FC were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Regilde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nivaldo Vides took the corner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Albertino Tomé left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freixedas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 67 minutes into the match, Regilde's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Tomé came free, but Rodrigo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernando Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Tomé in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Albertino Tomé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Freixedas FC's Laércio Frois got control of the ball when Fernando Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertino Tomé struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rodrigo Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freixedas FC. Rui Nunes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pimentel scored 2-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Diego Gouveia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Freixedas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regilde the free kick. A collision led to Freixedas FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Diego Gouveia hit a great ball. Rodrigo Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freixedas FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Regilde for a fine match.
