The supporters of Relva booed when Venestal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Simão Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Monti having to interfere. A collision led to Venestal FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jorge Veiga hit a great ball. Raul Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Relva got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Branco. Raul Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 43rd minute Lucas Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Faria during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Faria hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Lucas Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Martins having to interfere. Lucas Faria's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Martins firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benedykt Dobrzechowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Relva getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristiano Faria hit a great ball. Raul Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Relva's Cristiano Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Lucas Faria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raul Martins, 0-2. Lucas Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Martins having to make a save. Concetto Monti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Trindade in the 75th minute of play. Raul Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Dobrzechowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Relva got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Campos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Faria in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Monti saved Venestal FC from getting behind. Concetto Monti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Relva's Luís Trindade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Monti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Luís Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
