In the 42nd minute, Saúl Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Bruno Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MdasaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muxagata the free kick. Bruno Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Muxagata's zone, Aldaír Figueiras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Prestes came out of the goal and Aldaír Figueiras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Aldaír Figueiras made the kick off in the second half. Muxagata's Vladimiro Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Santiago in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Muxagata's Aprígio Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valério Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 59 minutes in the game, Flávio Toscano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valério Santana having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Alcino Vilhena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MdasaFC and the Muxagata players grew even worse after the yellow card. MdasaFC's Donato Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muxagata's Vladimiro Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino Vilhena in the 94th minute of play.
