Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Severiano made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Pousade:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coutada:s goal. Vicente Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Antunes in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Lúcio Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Severiano in the 14th minute of the match. Mariano Gomes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vicente Antunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Antunes went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Joel Severiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Severiano in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Severiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vicente Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Severiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Carlos Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pousade's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Severiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Pousade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Santarém to maneuver through the defense. Joel Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Assunção in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Antunes got free with Vicente Antunes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Basílio Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coutada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pousade the free kick. After 48 played minutes Coutada got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Melo.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basílio Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Dário Vilaça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Severiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Antunes having to interfere. Vicente Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alexandre Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pousade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes Coutada got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Melo. Coutada's Vicente Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Antunes in the 95th minute of play. Vicente Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
