Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Homero Rangel got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Valente in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Peralta saved Piodao FC from getting behind. Carlos Severiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Severiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alexandre Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pousade's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Peralta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valter Esparteiro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Alexandre Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Carlos Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Antunes in the 23rd minute of play. Amadeu Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Severiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pousade's zone, Homero Rangel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Severiano came out of the goal and Homero Rangel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Peralta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Antunes's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Amadeu Peralta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Severiano went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alexandre Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Homero Rangel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piodao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pousade the free kick. After 45 played minutes Piodao FC got a freekick which was hit by Homero Rangel.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Severiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Peralta having to interfere. If Carlos Severiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Higino Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piodao FC and the Pousade players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Piodao FC got a freekick which was hit by Higino Fonseca. Carlos Severiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amadeu Peralta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carlos Severiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Peralta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Antunes got free with Amadeu Peralta in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute of the match, Alexandre Antunes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeu Peralta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amadeu Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Severiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeu Peralta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
