The crowd rose to their feet as Pinhal FC's Daniel Gueifão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilário Silva. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pinhal FC's Daniel Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilário Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ramalhao FC's Hilário Silva got control of the ball when Vítor Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filipe Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinhal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Ramalhao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Faro came free, but Hilário Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Faro in the 60th minute of play forced Ramalhao FC's goalkeeper Hilário Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ramalhao FC booed when Pinhal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Raul Faro came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Pinhal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Faro couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Pinhal FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
