Tomé Vilanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Pedros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Vilanova was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game.
