Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Casais's Higino Guterres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SC Casais from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Pinhal in the 8th minute of play forced Pedros's goalkeeper Fábio Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Aires's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Delfim Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Casais the free kick. After 12 played minutes Pedros got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Castro. In the 15th minute, Isidoro Pinhal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermínio Aires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Coimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pedros's zone, Isidoro Pinhal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Coimbra came out of the goal and Isidoro Pinhal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higino Guterres made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alfredo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SC Casais booed when Pedros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Aires in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Coimbra saved Pedros from getting behind. In the 42nd play minute Alfredo Ramos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Higino Guterres. 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Pedros's Mário Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higino Guterres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Morais in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higino Guterres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Aires to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alfredo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Pedros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Ramos couldn't finish the play. Edgar Leite hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Mário Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Coimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Pinhal in the 60th minute. Jorge Oliveira, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Casais's zone, Rogério Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Guterres came out of the goal and Rogério Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Casais's Hermínio Aires slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fábio Coimbra. That made the score 1-1 after 84 minutes of play. Hermínio Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, SC Casais's Hermínio Aires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fábio Coimbra. Fábio Coimbra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Casais had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
