Joki FC's João Curado got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Luz having to interfere. Eiravade FC's Rui Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, João Curado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Armando Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Magalhães came free, but Basílio Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aristides Varanda fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joki FC's protests and gave Aristides Varanda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Joki FC's Aristides Varanda got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Rui Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Magalhães came free, but Basílio Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Curado to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Varanda hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Armando Morais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Basílio Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rui Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Basílio Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rui Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eiravade FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Eusébio Matias took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Basílio Luz to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute, Eusébio Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Luz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Armando Morais sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Eiravade FC booed when Joki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Curado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rui Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Luz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Armando Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Luz having to interfere. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Joki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Magalhães came free, but Basílio Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eiravade FC's Armando Morais got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Eiravade FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Joki FC.
