In the 31st minute Paulo Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Paulo Pinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filipe Assis. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Mascotelos's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Pacheco came free, but Bernardo Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
