Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dimas Reis got the match started through his kick off. Jacinto Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Amado in the 6th minute of play forced SC Carpinteiro's goalkeeper Gabriel Ponte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Quirino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Lousada in the 9th minute of play forced Arrotea FC's goalkeeper Israel Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Lousada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Israel Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermínio Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gabriel Ponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrotea FC. A collision led to Arrotea FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ademar Queiroga hit a great ball. Gabriel Ponte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermínio Rodrigues in the 37th minute. Arrotea FC's Artur Amado got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Amado to make the kick off. Gabriel Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Amado in the 52nd minute of the match. Dimas Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Morais having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aparício Morais during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Carpinteiro booed when Arrotea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aparício Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Carpinteiro's Gabriel Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Amado in the 63rd minute of play. If Hermínio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermínio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes SC Carpinteiro got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Maia. After recieving a nice pass, Arrotea FC's Jordão Estrela tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hermínio Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sabino Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carpinteiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Joaquim Lousada fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aparício Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ponte having to interfere. If Dimas Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
