Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Liteiros's Armando Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Eduardo Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Liteiros and the Eguins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes SC Liteiros got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Queirós. Eusébio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Pacheco in the 3rd minute of the match. Jorge Garcia's late challenge caught a Eguins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Garcia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Armando Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Higino Portugal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Eduardo Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Liteiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Queirós in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Portugal saved Eguins from getting behind. Armando Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Portugal having to interfere. Higino Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Pereira in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes SC Liteiros got a freekick which was hit by João Gaspar. When Joel Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Eguins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pacheco couldn't finish the play. In the 35th match minute, SC Liteiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Armando Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Luís Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesário Barroso, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Joel Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Eguins's zone, Armando Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Portugal came out of the goal and Armando Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Eguins's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Pereira came free, but Higino Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eguins's Joel Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasco Barbosa's late challenge caught a Eguins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. If Joel Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Queirós got free with Higino Portugal in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Pereiras short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Higino Portugal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eusébio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Pacheco in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Eguins getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Luís Amaral hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match SC Liteiros got a corner. Eguins's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Delgado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eduardo Queirós heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eduardo Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Higino Portugal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. SC Liteiros were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Eguins's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Delgado took the corner. After 95 minutes, Armando Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Liteiros and the Eguins players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Pereira in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higino Portugal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
