After the first half F.C.Fitipaldi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 56 played minutes SC Liteiros got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Delgado. Gabriel Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, SC Liteiros's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Solipa came free, but Eusébio Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramón Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C.Fitipaldi's Filipe Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Filipe Monteiro sped through SC Liteiros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Moreira.
