Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Cardoso got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th match minute, FC America was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, FC America's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Júlio Leal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Olívio Mafra came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC America fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olívio Mafra couldn't finish the play. Tinocos FC's Manuel Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Fernandes in the 10th minute of play. Afonso Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Olívio Mafra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Mafra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, José Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC America's supporters rose to their feet, but José Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olívio Mafra struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Manuel Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC America. When Tinocos FC's Afonso Cardoso in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Adelino Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tinocos FC and the FC America players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Adelino Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Afonso Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bento Serpa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Quinaz in the 66th minute of play forced Tinocos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Ramos during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Raul Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tinocos FC's Manuel Anjos got control of the ball when Olívio Mafra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, José Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olívio Mafras short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Manuel Anjos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, FC America's Olívio Mafra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Anjos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Tinocos FC's Miguel Pires got a free kick in the 77th minute. Raul Ramos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as José Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Anjos. That made the score 2-2 in the 84 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Tinocos FC's Afonso Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Serpa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Tinocos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olívio Mafra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Manuel Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. FC America were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tinocos FC to leave the ground with a draw.
