Américo Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duarte Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After 25 minutes, Nuno Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ourozinho FC and the Cabanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Ourozinho FC defense, Xavier Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Vieira. The Ourozinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Vieira should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Duarte Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Ourozinho FC's Miguel Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ourozinho FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute, Duarte Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Américo Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cabanes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
