After 22 played minutes Gaieiras FC got a freekick which was hit by Avelino Gentil. In the 23rdth minute of the game Jacinto Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaieiras FC's Cristiano Sobral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ourozinho FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexandre Fernandes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gaieiras FC's Leandro Caneira tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Gaieiras FC's Heitor Santos in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ourozinho FC's goalie prevented a goal. João Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Jacinto Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Sobral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Gaieiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Leiria came free, but Cristiano Sobral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacinto Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Sobral having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eurico Salvado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaieiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Salvado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Sobral having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heitor Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Sobral having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Duarte Rocha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristiano Sobral. Duarte Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After having played for 63 minutes, Avelino Gentil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaieiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avelino Gentil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Gaieiras FC got a freekick which was hit by António Marinho. Eurico Salvado struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Miguel Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaieiras FC. Cristiano Sobral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Rocha in the 76th minute of the match. Cristiano Sobral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Rocha in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Gaieiras FC's Eurico Salvado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jacinto Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Sobral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Duarte Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ourozinho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Sobral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duarte Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Sobral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jacinto Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Ourozinho FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
