Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Armindo Abreu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Xavier Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lagos FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Óscar Palha hit a great ball. Xavier Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Quadros having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Cabanes's goal looked a bit too open when André Cruz came free, but Américo Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Germano Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Caiado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Américo Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Germano Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cabanes getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Xavier Neves hit a great ball. Américo Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Palha, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Armindo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Germano Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagos FC's goalkeeper Germano Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Armindo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germano Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Cabanes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Américo Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Caiado in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Xavier Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Neves got free with Germano Quadros in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Américo Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Caiado went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Armindo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Germano Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Vale having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Cabanes's Armindo Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germano Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Lagos FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Óscar Palha hit a great ball. Cabanes's Américo Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Onofre in the 95th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Cabanes got a freekick which was hit by Rui Nascimento. Amado Caiado scored 2-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Américo Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
