Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Catarino Santarém started the match with the kick off. A collision led to SC Fundao getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Simão Gomes hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Viriato Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Carvalho. SC Camba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Catarino Santarém's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasco Moreira was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Daniel Setúbal's late challenge caught a SC Camba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes SC Fundao got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Setúbal. Viriato Fonseca kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Camba's keeper Manuel Carvalho was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Afonso Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Afonso Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Fundao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Coimbra couldn't finish the play. SC Fundao's Vasco Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Trindade in the 40th minute of play. José Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vasco Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Carlos Coelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vasco Moreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Coelho hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. SC Fundao's Viriato Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Coimbra made a kick off. José Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Moreira having to make a save. José Trindade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Vasco Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vasco Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, SC Fundao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. José Trindade scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Fonseca in the 67th minute of the match. The SC Fundao fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when SC Fundao's Afonso Coimbra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Afonso Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vasco Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Santarém in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, SC Camba's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Fonseca came free, but Manuel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when José Trindade in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Viriato Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fundao's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Afonso Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SC Camba defense, Viriato Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Carvalho. The SC Camba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Carvalho should have stopped the shot. André Paredes's late challenge caught a SC Camba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. After 99 played minutes SC Fundao got a freekick which was hit by André Paredes. SC Fundao were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Camba for a fine match.
