Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. Ricardo Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Daivoes got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Pires. 7 minutes into the match, Joaquim Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermano Carmona. Daivoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hermano Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Aguiar in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Cristiano Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Outeirinhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daivoes the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Outeirinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Dias to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Daivoes's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Ferreira came free, but Hermano Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermano Carmona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cândido Ferreira went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes Daivoes got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Malafaia. Sandro Amaral came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Daivoes's Alcides Lessa. But to his dismay, Alcides Lessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 39th minute, Francisco Oliveira had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Amorim during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, António Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Daivoes's zone, Cândido Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermano Carmona came out of the goal and Cândido Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daivoes were furious when Jaime Horta was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Daivoes! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The attack was good, but when Cândido Ferreira in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cândido Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermano Carmona having to interfere. Hermano Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Aguiar in the 63rd minute. Cândido Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Hermano Carmona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Outeirinhos FC. Alcides Lessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Amaral having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Outeirinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alcides Lessa in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Amaral saved Outeirinhos FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Daivoes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cândido Ferreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alcides Lessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sandro Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 99th match minute, Outeirinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Brás to maneuver through the defense. Outeirinhos FC played a much better game than Daivoes and deserved their victory. The Daivoes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
