Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Lagielas's Raul Araújo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Bernardo FC booed when SC Lagielas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joaquim Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lagielas's goalkeeper Joaquim Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Raul Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernardo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Paulo Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bernardo FC and the SC Lagielas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Costa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Albertino Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ferro having to interfere. If Raul Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Sousa got free with Carlos Ferro in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Paulo Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernardo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lúcio Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Cláudio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st match minute, SC Lagielas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo FC's Carlos Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Araújo in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Nascimento during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardo FC's Raul Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, SC Lagielas's goalkeeper Joaquim Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Miranda. If Raul Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bernardo FC's zone, Raul Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ferro came out of the goal and Raul Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bernardo FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emanuel Simões hit a great ball. SC Lagielas's Joaquim Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Costa in the 83rd minute of play. Raul Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Raul Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bernardo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joaquim Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, SC Lagielas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Araújo to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes SC Lagielas got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Vale. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
