When Hudson Souza fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronkmynine's protests and gave Hudson Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Stronkmynine got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Souza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Regueira in the 9th minute of play forced Stronkmynine's goalkeeper Filinto Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Souza hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Alcino Corte-Real charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alcino Corte-Real the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alcino Corte-Real kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hudson Souza hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Donato Regueira in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filinto Salgado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manuel Pinto thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Luís Bulhosa, a very annoying self made goal in the 25th minute which led to 0-1. In the 36th minute, João Bernardes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Bulhosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Zglimbea made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Stronkmynine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Fandinhais's Donato Regueira got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Stronkmynine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Donato Regueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Zglimbea in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Bulhosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Fandinhais's Donato Regueira got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ernest Zglimbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Bulhosa having to make a save. Luís Bulhosa made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Albertino Bessa sent off a good shot on target. Luís Bulhosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Zglimbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Zglimbea in the 87th minute of play forced Fandinhais's goalkeeper Luís Bulhosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
